Well it has been a busy few weeks, got a call Thursday before last from the photo editor from the National Post. We were hired to photograph some residents of the Toms Lake area just south of Pouce Coupe British Columbia. Recent terrorist activity has brought attention to this area and we were asked to photograph local residents that were voicing their concerns about the oil industry and recent bombings.
It was a whirl wind trip , I enjoyed meeting the nice folks that were nice enough to speak their minds and be photographed.
I'm not sure I could live their lifestyle , they work very hard but seem to appreciate what they have and have a true appreciation of what they have and for each other.
