Grande Prairie's wireless future

A little while back I did some photos for the National Post. They were doing an article on Grande Prairie's new wireless network.
GP is apparently leading the way on wireless communications for emergency response and security. I photographed the City of Grande Prairie's IT manager in a couple of locations one being the cab of a fire truck that had been equipped with the technology as well as on the roof of a building that has been set up with surveillance cameras for some trouble spots down town.

It made for a cool photo and I enjoyed the explanation of the power and capabilities of the network.
